Before the Blisters

We see and read about the misfortune and devastation on television and in the papers. We still tear up when we think about all that was lost by everyone affected by the storms. We are only a group of 14 and we know that we can't save the world or even Louisiana, but we hope that the little bit we give of ourselves during this next week will go along way. After all it is the least that we can do...

As you look at this group you will see the excitement that each of us have, and behind that you must know that the support that we are given from our family, friends and DeutschLA, is truly amazing. So thank you, from all of us, for everything that each of you has done in support. We all look forward to making you proud.

We'll miss you back here in the "other LA". :-)

So this is the BEFORE picture ... I have a feeling the smiles are going to get even larger in the AFTER shot! Sending blessings to the entire crew ... and a special " woo hoo" to my nephew Trevor. So what is this I hear about a drive up Margarita window?

Love,
Nancy

I think it's day 3 for y'all and I know everyone is exhausted, but keep up the good work....I admire you all for everything you're doing to help the people in Louisiana (my hometown!). The Blog is a nice glimpse into your experiences and I am enjoying reading them.
